Got only one word, okay two words......Lucas Oil.

Yep i work on my own truck and as a matter of fact i am overhauling the engine, transmittion and differentials this week. the truck has 1.5 million miles on it and still purrs like a kitten. I use 2 gallons of Lucas at every oil change and also add a lubricant called MotorKote to the oil every fourth oil change. My truck would not have gone this long if not for those two additives. I have never broken down and don't ever plan on it. I always repair or replace parts before they break. If you have any questions shoot me a message. H.

So how did the overhaul go?
Wouldn't use anything but Lucas Oil and products in our truck. Heck I even use it in my personal vehicle. Darn proud of my Dodge making this long with the abuse I give it. Take good care of the one that earns my living....the personal vehicle whole different story.

I do some of the stuff I can but would need a shop to as much as I would like to, but one thing at a time. I am in agreement with the lucas as my truck has 705,900 on it and it gets an average of 8 miles to the gallon. I do get as low as 7.1 under a heavy load, and as high as 9.8. Not bad for an old frieghtshaker. I am sure that the lucas helps with the wear and tear as well as the mileage. I am redoing the interior right now. It's fun to tear something apart and then swear that what I am doing is going to fit...maybe!

The overhaul went well. I will tell you this, because of the Lucas and Motorkote additives, the old parts in the engine didnt show the wear they should have had for a 1.5 million mile engine. I didnt even have to cut the block because it wasnt pitted from wear. i could have easily gone another 400,000 miles. I am on my first trip and in the process of breaking in my rebuilt engine. will change the oil after 5,000 miles and start adding lucas and motorkote once again. If you dont use those additives you absolutely should. Seeing the condition of my old engince parts has confirmed by belief in Lucas and Motorkote.
